Lead Free, Environmental Policy and ESD Qualification

Lead Free & RoHS Compliant

CDIL has completed the conversion of process to Lead Free and Devices are supplied with Lead Free finish and are RoHS Compliant. This includes packages in glass, plastic and metal can, covering the wide range of surface mount and conventional leaded insertion mount devices.

We hold ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification and are alive to the global concerns of the environment. On a pro-active basis CDIL takes steps for continual improvement towards conserving natural resources with their judicious use and search for alternatives. 

In recognition of CDIL successfully implementing an environmental management system, in line with the high standards of Sony Corporation, a Green Partner status was accorded to us, way back on July 31, 2003.

Component Disposal Instructions 

1. CDIL Semiconductor Devices are RoHS compliant, customers are requested to please dispose as per prevailing Environmental Legislation of their Country.
2. In Europe, please dispose as per EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Environmental Policy

In line with our corporate values, we at Continental Device India Ltd, manufacturing semiconductor devices, are committed to demonstrate excellence in our environmental performance on a continual basis.

To achieve this, we shall:

• Integrate environmental issues at the planning stage to reduce potential environmental impacts at source;
• Institutionalize sound environmental management practices including pollution prevention, adoption of cleaner technologies, effective resource management, waste avoidance and best operating practices;
• Comply with all applicable Environmental Legislation;
• Optimize consumption of resources, in particular water, energy and chemicals;
• Strengthen the awareness, skill and competence of our employees in ensuring good environmental management as a part of everyone's responsibility and accountability;
• Review periodically our environmental objectives and targets.

We shall make this policy available to all employees and interested parties.

CDIL's Semiconductor Devices meet the industry standard norms of ESD Sensitivity.
